Hello Summer from Foodjob Nordic

The sun is out, summer is upon us and already the first half of 2018 is in the rear-view mirror with a lot of challenging and exciting developments and tasks, both externally and internally.

Two of the biggest tasks have been the implementation of new online tools and preparing to comply with the new GDPR rules. We have spent a lot of resources on updating and restructuring our procedures and documentation and we are looking forward to offer improved services and smoother processes to our clients and candidates. Even if we recognize the extra work being put into updating information, we expect the results to be fully worth it.

The first six months of business has also been buzzing with more than 30 closed management recruitment assignments. The job market is currently buzzing with activity and we are really interested to see, if this continues in the second half of 2018.

We are still seeing a lot of acquisitions and mergers in our industry, making the market more and more consolidated and polarized. This emphasizes the importance of being real food industry specialists and having real insights into people and organizational matters.

Besides our many recruitment tasks, we have three other exciting projects to look forward to in the next six months of 2018. We are organizing two Student Challenges in November in collaboration with FoodTech and Agromek. And like last year we will recruit companies and products for the International Food Contest.
