Senior Manufacturing Performance Lead
On behalf of an established international food production company, Foodjob Nordic is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Performance Lead to play a key role in strengthening operational performance and driving continuous improvements across the manufacturing organization. This is a senior specialist position for an experienced professional who combines deep manufacturing expertise with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to turn operational insights into tangible results. We are looking for an experienced manufacturing professional with a strong track record in improving production performance, optimizing processes and delivering measurable operational results.
The position
Reporting directly to the COO, you will work closely with production management and key operational stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, challenge existing processes and support the implementation of sustainable performance improvements. You will act as an independent, trusted advisor to the operational organization, bringing an objective perspective, strong manufacturing knowledge and a structured approach to performance optimization.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Identify and address hidden losses, inefficiencies and performance gaps throughout production.
- Improve yield, production flow, capacity utilization and overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Analyze operational performance and translate data into practical improvement initiatives.
- Challenge existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Support industrialization, process standardization and operational scalability.
- Work closely with production teams to implement improvements and ensure lasting results.
- Establish clear performance measures and follow up on operational improvements.
Your background
We are looking for a senior manufacturing professional with substantial experience from industrial food production or comparable process-driven manufacturing environments. You will bring:
- Extensive experience in manufacturing performance improvement, operational excellence or production optimization.
- A proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in yield, efficiency, productivity and cost.
- Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes, production flows and operational KPIs.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- The ability to combine strategic perspectives with practical, hands-on implementation.
- Strong analytical capabilities and the confidence to challenge established practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across organizational levels.
Experience from food processing or other manufacturing environments with complex production processes and demanding quality requirements will be particularly relevant.
