The best of both worlds: The need for education in Food Technology to serve Danish food businesses
Foodjob Nordic experiences an increased demand for employees with talent for both innovation and effective production, who are able to analyse and work with the food process from raw materials to a finished product.
According to Mads Kinch Clemmensen, Director of Foodjob Nordic, Danish food industry demands talent with equal parts of practical and theoretical background.
“Our clients are looking for people with some level of academic knowledge, and at the same time has the hands-on experience. This is a desirable combination for the companies right now, if you are determined and flexible in your choice of job at the same time”, Mads Clemmensen says.
Therefore, Business Academy Aarhus has created a new education in food technology in collaboration with Danish food businesses. This 3½ year bachelor’s programme focuses on quality assurance, technology and innovation within food production as well as the final product.
A bachelor’s degree in Food Technology and Application leads to job opportunities such as quality manager, production manager, or product developer.
