Bite Copenhagen 2018

The second edition of the Bite fair took place on the 30th and 31st of August in Bella Center in Copenhagen.

It’s a very exciting event for food innovation enthusiasts. Going there is a guarantee to come across the most creative food products, whether they are surprising, fun, delicious, practical, nutritious, …

Speaking about every single one of the innovations that could find on the fair would imply writing quite a long article, so we’ve selected two companies whose products we found particularly interesting and tasty.

Like Meat 


A growing number of people are eating less meat or are more selective with their choices (local, organic, …). To satisfy the appetite of meat eaters or the curiosity of consumers willing to try new flavors and textures, this company has created a whole range of plant-based “meat”, mostly made of soy. The company shows great creativity and successfully follows the flexitarian/vegetarian/vegan diets trend.


Nød Snack

This company, launched by a Danish couple, has created a whole range of healthy snacks that are inspired by old Nordic recipes. The original idea was to create healthy snacks for their three daughters, without any added sugar and with a great taste. Their products come in small circular boxes and they proposed it in four different flavors so far. The basic ingredients are Nuts and Seeds, sometimes completed with dried berries.
