Technical Sales Manager - Ruminant

An established international company operating in the animal nutrition industry is seeking a Technical Sales Manager - Ruminant to support its ongoing organisational growth.

 

Reporting to the Global Technical Sales Manager - Ruminant, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Commercial Management and in developing the Italian and European markets, combining strong technical expertise in ruminant nutrition with solid commercial capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and commercial support for the development of the Italian and European markets.
  • Work closely with the sales force, distributors, and key customers.
  • Deliver technical consultancy, training, and presentations of nutritional solutions for ruminants.
  • Participate in customer visits, trade fairs, and industry events.
  • Conduct market analysis and collaborate with Marketing and R&D functions to support product positioning and development.

Candidate Profile

  • University degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Sciences, or related disciplines, with a specialisation in ruminants.
  • 5–8 years of experience within companies operating in the animal feed, nutritional supplementation, or related sectors.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Availability for frequent travels within Italy and across Europe.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Results-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

 


Location

  • Province of Reggio Emilia, Italy
  • Hybrid working model (on-site presence combined with remote working), with frequent travels within Europe.

Compensation

  • Gross Annual Salary range: €60,000 - 65,000, based on experience and qualifications.
