Global Key Account Manager for Solina DK
Foodjob Nordic is looking for an ambitious commercial profile to play a central role at our client Solina DK.
Solina DK (ex. SFK Food A/S) is a leading supplier of spices, marinades, functional ingredients and complete food processing concepts. The company is a long time successful supplier for food manufacturers and food service in Denmark as well as internationally. From 2014 the company has been part of the Solina Group based in France.
Responsibilities and goals
Working in a matrix structure with direct reference to the overall Sales Manager you will be responsible for handling one of Solina’s most significant industry accounts on European level. As accountable for the entire account cross countries, your primary goal is to develop the account realizing the growth potential in a sustainable way.
You will be creating the detailed business plan and budget and driving the execution of the plans by on the one hand conducting sales activities directly and on the other hand leading, coaching and continuously updating the rest of the go-to market team.
As Global Key Account Manager creating the right network and decoding the customers organization will be key to your success. Besides selling value adding raw materials, ingredients, compounds and concepts you convey Solina’s unique capabilities in R&D, Quality and Supply Chain to the customer. With focus on providing solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction, you identify new business opportunities and convert these into strategic projects and a pipeline of customer projects.
Making presentations on executive level externally and internally and setting up seminars is a natural part of the role. So is handling tenders and negotiating contracts and prices. You coordinate and lead such commercial interactions to ensure “one voice towards the customer”.
While working in a matrix organization and reporting accordingly is part of the job, the position offers high degrees of freedom corresponding to the accountability in the role. The position is based at the Solina office in Stilling, Denmark, and travelling activity is estimated to be around 50 days per year.
We expect you to have a documented track record with management of B2B accounts in the food industry – preferably meat processing industry accounts. Besides this the following experience and skills are considered highly important:
- Strong business acumen based on a theoretical degree in Business or Economics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – used to work in a matrix organization and handling different groups of stakeholders
- Experience with the Danish market combined with international experience and orientation
- Structured way of working with good project management skills and high integrity
- Result driven personality combined with strategic mindset
- Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language – written and spoken
