Nordic is looking for a Commercial Product Manager to support competitive
and profitable business growth of AAKs Chocolate and Confectionary Fats
focus on the CCF business in Europe you will be reporting directly to the
Global Business Director and be part of the Business Development &
Marketing team. Working in a matrix structure your primary responsibility will
be to support colleagues in Sales, Customer Innovation
and Business Development Management in developing and executing the business in line with the CCF industry
You will be responsible for managing and optimizing
the product portfolio supporting competitive and profitable business growth. This
- Analyzing product profitability and setting thresholds for new products
and product exits
- Actively working to find new business opportunities in the market
- Launch of new (regional) products
- Monitoring the opportunity pipeline and use that to guide internally
- Leading and executing business development
- Support through strategic customer visits
- Providing market and competitor data
- Managing the content and level of industry specific customer training
and internal training
- Supporting with price guidelines and budget inputs
- Managing product names and trademarks
As Commercial Product Manager you will be responsible
for leading the regional European industry go-to-market team and also play an
active role in the global go-to-market team. Through coordinating with the team
and through meetings with clients you will get significant international exposure.
Travelling internationally 30 to 40 days per year must be expected.
For the right candidate the position
can be based at one of AAKs European sites in Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, The
Netherlands or The United Kingdom. The
preferred location would be in Aarhus, Denmark.
You possess an academic degree in either business or a relevant
technical field. Besides this you have a number of years experience and a
strong track record from the food ingredient industry or related industries
within the area of Commercial Product Management. Thus you have already
acquired a strong commercial mindset, solid business acumen and profound
project management capabilities.
On a personal level you have a strong drive, and you enjoy taking on responsibility
and showing initiative. You have a structured approach towards your work and focus
on delivering high quality work every day.
To succeed in this position it is furthermore important, that you like
to be part of a team and that you feel confident engaging, motivating and
coordinating cross functional and international teams.
in English as well as flexibility and willingness to travel within Europe quite
extensively is also a necessity.
