17 employees supports customers in the Danish market from the company facilities in Randers which includes product development and a well equipped pilot plant setup.

The position

With reference to the Managing Director you will have the responsibility for selected customers in the Danish market. You will be developing marketing and sales strategies to onboard new customers and develop the cooperation with existing customers. And you will proactively scout for new business opportunities by developing and managing the product portfolio. The role entails:

  • Key account responsibility for customers in the food and meat products industry.
  • Planning, preparation and realization of annual and price meetings with customers.
  • Specialist and technological customer advice on site and on the phone.
  • Project management - planning and implementation for and with customers.
  • Responsible for representing the company at trade fairs, seminars and conferences.
  • Collaboration in internal project groups for the research and development of new products and solutions.

You will be working with the local team to effectively manage the day to day business and you will liaise with technical specialists and other staff functions. You will also coordinate with other business teams in the group with regards to identifying and developing potential market opportunities.

The position can be based at home office while regular attendance in the office in Randers is expected. A significant level of domestic travelling is expected.

 

Profile

You have a solid commercial track record in the food industry from a supplier of ingredients, a supplier of FMCG, or perhaps a wholesaler.  

Your sales toolbox is well developed and you posses a good understanding of sales processes. This includes working in cross-functional commercial teams as well as professional usage of MS-Office and experience working with CRM tools.

It is a prerequisite for success that you posses an ambitious and entrepreneurial spirit combined with a structured approach and a team orientation. So is your ability to build strong relations with customers and colleagues, and you have excellent communications skills, verbally and in writing, in Danish and in English.
