Supplier & Customer Service Manager for Tamaco Trading

Do you know how to handle both suppliers and customers and keep the business running smoothly ?

Foodjob Nordic is looking for a self-driven and dedicated professional for a key role at Tamaco Trading. Tamaco Trading is a trading company specialized in sales and support of various packaging solutions primarily for the food industry in Scandinavia (B2B). Tamaco Trading has administration and warehouse in Hasselager near Aarhus. The company is part of Solina Group.

Responsibilities
As Supplier & Customer Service Manager you will play a central part in a small organization making things happen through interacting frequently with colleagues, suppliers and customers. You will be referring to the SBU Manager, and your direct colleagues are a small group of category product manages and a production/warehouse responsible.

You will be coordinating the supply chain from the suppliers to the customers across the categories. This includes a broad range of responsibilities and tasks, i.e.:

  • Handling incoming customer orders
  • Managing goods on stock by continuously analyzing/assessing the need
  • Purchasing in coordination with category product managers and customers
  • Following up with suppliers
  • Managing logistics and external warehouses
  • Reporting on sales and budget on a weekly/monthly basis

In general there is a significant amount of administrative work in the role, and becoming a superuser of the company ERP (Navision), Business Intelligence and warehouse management systems is essential.

The position offers high degrees of freedom corresponding to the accountability in the role. Moreover you will be part of a well functioning team of people who enjoy each others company and interact on both a professional and a personal level.

The position is based at Tamaco Trading’s office in Hasselager near Aarhus, and while the vast majority of the time will be spent in the office, some international travelling activity should be expected.

Qualifications

A +5 year track record working B2B in product management, supply chain and/or customer service roles is seen as a necessity to have success in the role. Furthermore we expect you to be experienced in the dealing with both customers and suppliers. While experience from a similar function is the most important qualification, experience dealing with packaging solutions – especially for the food industry - is a definite advantage.

Due to the character of the role your mindset and your personal characteristics are also of high priority. It takes a flair for administration and an ability to structure workflows to succeed in the role. At the same time it takes a solution oriented and flexible mindset and not least a serviceminded attitude to handle an unpredictable communication flow with both customers and suppliers.

The high degree of freedom in the role comes with a need for a well developed sense of urgency and responsibility. Tamaco Trading is known for a high service level, and the whole team need to have the necessary drive to make things happen.

Establishing god relations with both customers and suppliers is highly important, and good communication skills both orally, in writing, in both Danish and English (and possibly German) is a necessity in the role.
