Sales Manager / Trader – Dairy

Foodjob Nordic is looking for a Sales Manager / Trader for Fayrefield Foods. Fayrefield Foods supplies dairy ingredients, functional blends, cheese and butter for both industry customers and foodservice customers internationally. Fayrefield Foods is based in Vejle, Denmark, but operates overseas through representative offices and partners.

The position

With reference to the Sales Directory you will handle sales activities of dairy based ingredients, functional blends, cheese products and butter. You will have your own sales budget and market responsibility which potentially includes activities in both Middle East, Asia and Europe. The role includes:

  • Establishing and developing sales to both food industry and foodservice
  • Handling customer requests
  • Maintaining customer relations through customer visits etc.
  • Contact to suppliers and procurement of products
  • Market mappings and development of sales plans
  • Participation in industry fairs and events

Most of the contact to customers and suppliers is handled via telephone and e-mails, but you will also maintain your relations through direct meetings. Travelling activity around 40-60 days per year should be expected. You can be based at the Fayrefield Foods office in Vejle, Denmark or at home office.

Your profile

You have a solid and documented track record selling/trading or purchasing dairy products B2B internationally. You are strong in building relationships and you know how to handle the different players in the market.

Your communication skills are excellent – in English and perhaps in another major language. IT-wise you very well know the MS Office tools and you are comfortable conducting video meetings and communicating via common IT tools.

As a person you have a commercial mindset and you are motivated creating win-win situations in the market.
