Key Account Manager for Délifrance

Foodjob Nordic is looking for a commercial foodservice professional to join Delifrance Norden. Delifrance produces bakery products based on French know-how and tradition with high standards for taste and quality. With respect for local traditions, recipes and sales channels Delifrance supplies customers world-wide through sales offices and representations in more than 100 countries.

Your role
With reference to the Nordic sales manager you will be responsible for maintaining existing business and creating new business handling chain customers and wholesalers in the Danish foodservice market. This implies:

  • Responsibility for revenue and costs for customers
  • Ensuring that each customer is offered the right product offer
  • Establishing and implementing a marketing plan for each customer
  • Taking responsibility for customer deals in cooperation with the Nordic sales manager
  • Regular visits to the customers
  • Participating in trade fairs, exhibitions etc.

Keeping updated on trends and supporting that Delifrance has a competitive product sheet is part of the job. So is mapping the needs of the customers and taking an analytical approach to the market.

You will be working from home office preferably located in the Greater Copenhagen area / Öresund region. Travelling activity for customer visits, fairs etc. shall be expected in the job.

Qualifications

You are working as a key account manager, senior consultant or the like and you have significant experience and a well established network in the Danish foodservice sector. Experience in retail is a definite advantage but not a requirement.

Your understanding of the customers businesses makes it possible for you to identify opportunities to create value. You are interested in food and taste and you keep yourself updated on general food trends both nationally and internationally.

As a person you are result oriented and ambitious. You are self-driven by nature and you are able to keep focused also when sales processes require a long haul. You are strong in communication and cooperation and you are able to create and sustain good relations with both purchasers and other stakeholders at wholesalers and foodservice chains.
