Foodjob Nordic is looking for an ambitious Global Business Development Manager to support competitive and profitable growth of AAKs Chocolate and Confectionary Fats business. AAK is the leading producer of specialized oils and fats for the food industry. The company has unmatched expertise in the application of vegetable oils and fats in chocolate and confectionery (CCF).

This is a unique opportunity to join a strong commercial team marketing oil and fat solutions B2B to world leading food companies.

Position

With focus on the CCF business globally you will be reporting to the Global Business Director and be part of the Business Development & Marketing CCF team in Aarhus. Working in a matrix structure your primary responsibility will be to support colleagues globally within Sales, Customer Innovation, Business Development, Marketing and Management in developing and leading the business in line with the global CCF industry strategy.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities and defining, managing and executing business development projects of both commercial and technical character. This includes:

  • Actively working to find new business opportunities in the market by working with the various regional colleagues within the CCF business
  • Analyzing product profitability and identifying optimization potential
  • Build strong value propositions for new and existing solutions
  • Launch of new products and campaigns regionally and globally
  • Acquisition of market and competitor data
  • Managing content and level of industry specific customer training and internal training
  • Providing price guidelines and budget inputs
  • Involvement in M&A type of activities

As Global Business Development Manager you will play an active role in the global CCF Go-to-Market team. Through coordinating with the team and through strategic customer visits you will get significant international exposure. Travelling up to 50 days per year must be expected.

The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark.

Profile

You are already a successful business developer with a strong track record from the food ingredient industry or from a related industry on an international level. Besides a commercial mindset and solid business acumen, you possess strong analytical skills and profound project management capabilities.

On a personal level you combine a strong goal orientation with a curious mind and you enjoy taking on responsibility and showing initiative. At the same time you are a team player and you know how to ensure joint efforts in an international matrix organization.

Besides strong communication skills in general, fluency in English is a requirement.
